Capitulo Góngora Pimental - Universidad Contemporánea

Góngora Pimental Inn held their initiation earlier this year at the Regional Museum of the City of Queretaro. Present at the ceremoney were charter members Adriana Aguilera and Alberto Medina and Honorary members Lic. Juan Carlos Espinosa Larracoechea and Lic. Enrique Rivera Decano.

Jefferson Inn - William & Mary School of Law

Professor Don Tortorice, Professor Fredric I. Lederer (Jefferson Hon.), and Mr. Oldric “Joe” Labell (Jefferson Inn '65)  


Professor Tortorice, Mr. Labell, Magister Brian Kargus, Vice-Magister Erica Brannon, and Exchequer Tabitha Blake.

On March 28, 2008, Jefferson Inn initiated its newest members at the home of their Faculty Advisor and Chancellor, Professor Don Tortorice. This was a special initiation as Charter Member, Mr. Oldric “Joe” Labell, was able to participate and share the history behind the Inn's charter. Jefferson Inn members remained active through April with a trip to the U.S. Supreme Court on April 4th and an Adopt-a-Highway cleanup on April 12th.

Lewis F. Powell Inn - George Mason University Law School

On March 21, 2008, L.F. Powell Inn initiated its eight newest members.

PDP Chartered Anstead Inn at Florida International University

On March 8, 2008, Phi Delta Phi chartered the newest of over 130 active Inns at Florida International University College of Law. The initiation of the charter class of the Harry Lee Anstead Inn of Phi Delta Phi took place in the Rafael Diaz-Balart Moot Court Room on the Florida International University College of Law campus. The Honorable Harry Lee Anstead, Justice of the Supreme Court of Florida and namesake of the Inn, presided over the initiation ritual. The Honorable Gerald B. Cope, Jr. and the Honorable Frank A. Shepherd, both of the Third District Court of Appeal, also participated in administering the initiation ritual. Phi Delta Phi President Lic. Tetsuji Tamashiro formally presented the students of the Charter Class with Anstead Inn’s engraved Charter. New student initiates of Blackstone Inn at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center also participated in this historic initiation ceremony.

Roman Herzog Inn Meets President Roman Herzog

On November 3, 2007, members of Phi Delta Phi's German Inn met with its namesake, former President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bundespraesident Prof. Dr. Roman Herzog. The luncheon was such a success that there are hopes for another in the future.

On December 1, 2007, Roman Herzog Inn also initiated 25 new members and began the process of opening a second German Inn.

2007 Mexican National Convention

On November 10 and 11, 2007, Phi Delta Phi's Mexican Inns held their annual Convention in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Moultrie Inn - University of D.C. David A. Clarke School of Law

On October 22, 2007, Moultrie Inn held a successful initiation of several new members.  Back Row: Magister Mazi A. Burgoa Inn - ITESM Campus Estado de México

On October 12, 2007, newly chartered Burgoa Inn at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey or ITESM (often referred to as the MIT of Mexico and Latin America) held its charter initiation ceremony with President Tetsuji Tamashiro, Executive Director Tim Wheat, Province President Carlos Gamboa Lopez, Asst. Province President Armando Mier Revilla and the dean of the school in attendance.
 
Following the initiation was a question and answer session of who looked better in the hat, Carlos or Tim. It was Tim!

Rojina Villegas Inn - Universidad Intercontinental

On May 2, 2007, Rojina Villegas Inn held their initiation with Vice-President (at time of photo) Tetsuji Tamashiro, Assistant Province President Armando Mier Revilla and Magister Juan Carlos Cruz presiding.

Bradlee Inn - New England School of Law

 
On September 7, 2007, Bradlee Inn recently held a "Bar Review" social event in which two of the local bars near the school were sampled. Bradlee intends to hold the event every month or so as a way for PDP members to spend time with one another and get to know Boston.

John Reed Inn - Penn State Dickinson School of Law

On April 18, 2007, the newest Inn of Phi Delta Phi was installed at Dickinson School of Law at Penn State University in State College, PA. Pictured are the charter members of John Reed Inn along with Dean of Students Keith Elkin, Esq., Province President Ron Fonner, Esq. and Assistant Province President Karen Jenkins, Esq. Also in attendance was Tim Wheat, Esq., Executive Director of Phi Delta Phi. Congratulations to Phi Delta Phi’s newest charter members!
